CLAY SCULPTURE WORKSHOP: SCULPTING THE HUMAN HEAD

In this one-day, hands-on sculpture workshop, limited to five participants, you will learn the fundamentals of sculpting a clay head, focusing on structure, anatomy, and expression. You will complete your sculpture and take it home at the end of the day.

You will:

  • Learn the basics of head anatomy: skull shape, facial muscles, and proportions.

  • Learn how anatomy shapes facial expression and form.

  • You will learn the fundamental techniques needed to create expressive facial features, balancing simplicity and detail.

  • Add detail and surface texture to complete your piece.

What you will get:

  • Personalised instruction throughout the workshop

  • Access to sculpting trestles, tools, and materials

  • A finished clay head sculpture to take home

Beginner-friendly.

What to bring:

  • Bring your own lunch — there will be a 30-minute lunch break

  • Clothes you do not mind getting a little dirty
